BHS Help Desk Team Member Spotlight: Kristin, Jhymon, Mehul & Demetrios

This week I’m very proud to be highlighting four members of the BHS Help Desk.

Jhymon, Mehul, and Demetrios are first year, talented and motivated members of Help Desk and they are excited to be a part of this year’s team. All three of these students are interested in helping teachers and students with technology and enjoy working with any type of device, application, or web tool. They work in the Help Desk during period 7 and hope to provide classroom teachers and their peers with live demonstrations of iPad apps. They are also finishing up their debut screencasts which I will be sharing later next week. They will be working on creating digital tutorials throughout the entire semester.

Kristin Johnson, a senior student athlete at BHS, is in her second year of the Help Desk program. She possesses a strong background in computer programming and her career goal is to work at Google. Kristin has been researching a variety of apps that she feels will benefit teachers and students and will be sharing her reviews in upcoming blog posts. Kristin will also be working with me and other Help Desk students to coordinate this year’s BHS Hour of Code program.
