Please note: Anyone who wishes to become a certified Google Educator is advised to use these guides as study materials as he or she prepares to take the Google Educator exams. Educators must pass the exams for Gmail, Calendar, Sites, Drive & Docs, and one elective course (choices are Chrome Browser, Chromebooks, Tablets with Google Play for Education) with a minimum score of 80% in order to earn their certification. Exams can be purchased individually, or as a bundle package for $60.00. Each 90 minute exam consists of 60 multiple choice questions. Once an exam is purchased you will have 90 days to complete it. Google encourages educators who are interested in applying for the Google Teacher Academy to first earn their Google Educator certification. Educators can also pursue becoming an authorized Google Education Trainer.
