The Hour of Code at Burlington Public Schools

Burlington Public Schools is excited for next week’s Hour of Code. The Hour of Code is a global event designed to inspire students of all ages to learn the basics of computer science through engaging and interactive coding tutorials. The BPS Edtech team is encouraging teachers and students throughout the entire district to complete at least one Hour of Code tutorial. In an effort to make signing up for the Hour of Code and access to the tutorials as efficient as possible, a Smore flyer has been created. The flyer contains the official Hour of Code promotional video, direct links for teachers and students to sign up to participate and a summary of each tutorial. There is also a direct link to try each of the tutorials being offered. Access to the entire flyer can be found by CLICKING THIS LINK. Beginning next Monday, Help Desk students will be available to assist students with completing an Hour of Code. They are eager and excited to work alongside their peers and explore the creative opportunities offered through the Hour of Code event.
