We have a great group once again, and I’m looking forward to seeing what this group does as we close out the school year. Some of these folks are seniors who will be moving onto their senior internships, and I will be working with another group of talented seniors in our Flipped Internship program.

Hello, my name is Nathaniel Achato, I am a freshman at Burlington High School. My interests are soccer, video games, music and spending time with my friends and family. I decided to join the help desk because at my former school I liked studying computers and stuff related to it and I wanted to improve on my knowledge about technology, this is because in this current world tech is a big thing and basically everything is used with technology. Am inspired to do a job that involves tech or maybe soccer because I want a job that I enjoy and I can also earn money while doing it. As the saying goes “whatever you believe you can achieve”. Another interest I have is that I like watching basketball. My favorite team is the Boston Celtics.I really like all my family members. They inspire me to achieve all my goals and they provide me with whatever is necessary. Most importantly I am a God fearing person and me and my family have a strong relationship with God.

Hello, my name is David Capobianco. I am currently a senior at Burlington highschool. Some things i’m interested in that are technology related include playing video games with my friends and by myself, my favorite is BO3 (Black Ops 3) which is call of duty. I have been playing this game for over 5 years and I’ve enjoyed all of it. I also play many more popular video games. Another technology related thing I have always been interested in is coding. I have previously taken a coding class and have always been interested in the background of how our daily technology is coded and made. Why I choose Help Desk as a class i’m taking is because of many different reasons is because the opportunity to learn about many technology based things and to be involved in a class that I can learn about things that I use every day but don’t know how they are made like game making I have always been curious about how it’s really made and hopefully i can learn more about things related to that. Another reason would be because technology is a huge part of our lives and quickly becomes the future in everything in our lives. I think it will be extremely important to know about these things given that I will be using it. Lastly, I would like to be a leader and help other classmates that aren’t confident about technology. With the knowledge that I learn from this class, I will be able to help. My career interests as of right now is to go to college after high school. I think that will be the best thing for me because I like to learn and having a college degree will help lead me to a good job for my future. Interesting things about me would be that I love going to the gym. I have been lifting weights since I was a freshman and have enjoyed every part about it and am excited to see the progress that I can make. I also like doing things in nature like golfing and skiing both of which I have been doing since I was young.

Hi my name is Hunter Ciulla and I am a sophomore at Burlington High School. When I’m bored I like to play 2k and call of duty (black ops) . I am interested in learning more about technology and programming. I joined a help desk to expand my knowledge on technology. I’m not sure what I wanna do at college. I still have two more years to decide, but most likely something to do with business and accounting, but playing a sport for college would also be pretty cool. Some interesting things about me are that I play football and track and Field. When I’m not in school or sports I like to hangout with family and friends. I try to be busy because I don’t like being bored.

Hi my name is Matty Gray and I’m a junior at Burlington highschool some of my interests are playing basketball and golf. I chose to take this class because technology is used a lot in modern day life and there are always new things to learn about technology. This class can help me learn how to better use technology. This class is very interesting because there are a lot of different ways technology can be used today and I can learn about all the different ways it can be used. Technology is also going to be very important in any future jobs I may have so having a better understanding of how it works will help me be more successful when I am working.

Hi, I am Nolan Jennings and I am a senior at Burlington High School. I am interested in technology and all the new innovation and creativity that can be utilized through technology. My biggest interest is sports. I play hockey and lacrosse at Burlington High School and will be continuing my lacrosse career at Bentley University next year. I joined help desk because I am fascinated by how computers and different types of technology work and want to learn more about them. As I said I am a senior and I will be going on an internship later this year. I will most likely be joining the excel internship at Burlington High School which will allow me to become excel certified and give me a very good knowledge of excel spreadsheets as I will be needing that knowledge next year when I attend Bentley. Lastly, I am looking to major in Finance in college and want to do minors in entrepreneurship and management. I want to go through this path because my goal is to one day start my own business and work for myself. I am very excited for this class and for everything that I will be doing for the rest of my senior year.

I don’t really have much knowledge on technology, it’s not my best skill, trying to fix a problem on a device, I usually search it up and try to figure it out, so next time I at least know what is the problem.

I didn’t really have a choice in choosing what class I would have, my counselor set me up with this class, due to a glitch with my schedule. So, in order for her to help fix my schedule, she decided to switch two of my periods, and put me in tech, as it was the only one available for freshmen. But it’s at least just an introduction to tech.

I don’t really have a current career I want, I still have some time to think about it, and learn more about what I like doing. Since I am only in my first year.

That’s really all I have to say, not really that interesting about me. But we will see how I am at the end semester, even if I walk out with not much skills, I still have a pretty good idea on different types of technology.

My tech interests include fundamental knowledge of coding that could help with statistics. Or coding that could help me with math in general. Video games and game design would also be interesting since I play video games occasionally. Learning more about AI would also be more interesting since it’s being used more everyday.

I chose to join the help desk because I believe that the knowledge and skills I could learn in this class could help me throughout life seeing that technology is becoming more prevalent every year.

Career Interest would be medicine. Specifically surgery because I like how competitive the field is and I would like to help various people throughout my lifetime. I have been to Boston Children’s Hospital many times throughout my life and it would be my dream job to work there.

Other Interests: I have always enjoyed sports and been on many teams throughout my life. Started with basketball, then football, and now I currently run track for winter and spring seasons. I’m also a member of the best buddies program and play an active role as the special Olympics coordinator. I am also a mentor leader for the mentor program at BHS and I have also been a member of DECA since freshman year.

My name is Dylan Reda, and I’m a Sophomore Burlington High School. I’m very interested in technology because of how important it is in our daily lives. No matter what you do with your future, you’ll need to know how to use technology. My biggest interest with technology is just understanding it on a better level rather than having surface knowledge. The reason I joined the Help desk is because it piqued my interest in what we’d do in the class, so I decided to take a chance on it, so far it’s been great. My career interest is mainly to become a Lawyer in my future career or do something law related in my future as those are my biggest passions in life and I can see myself doing it. One interesting thing about myself is that I love to travel to European countries and I play soccer.

My name Sekabira Kizza (Calvin). I just joined help desk a few weeks ago and I like playing video games on my phone and other devices. I also like playing badminton and I was the former team captain of my former school and we were able to reach the national championship although on the final day I broke my hand when practicing. I joined the help desk to fulfill my future dream and goal of becoming a game developer.I think the help desk is the start to fulfill my dreams and goals and with the help of teachers I will fulfill my dreams and goals and then go to college.

Hello, my name is Brian Teguia. I am 15 years old and a freshman at Burlington High School. I am not really interested in technology, but I feel like the field is so open so there must be something I would enjoy. In addition, every single job you could have has something to do with technology so understanding it would be extremely beneficial.I do not really play them much, but I do enjoy certain video games. That leads me to why I joined Help Desk in the first place. My brother Don told me it was a class where I could learn about different ways to use technology and that is what sparked my interest. For my career I wish to be a pro athlete, or work in the field of athletics, and for that technology would be super helpful. Having the ability to analyze and track data would allow me to find a great job. Other than that, I love sports, music, and being out with friends.
