We hope everyone has had a great start to the new school year. This year’s group started off learning about customer service, drones, and robotics. My name is Abdusalam. I joined Tech Exploration because I want to learn more about technology and improve my skills. I am interested in game design and want to learn how games are created and how technology can be used in different ways. I also joined because I want to get better grades and work toward getting an A+ in my classes. I think this class will help me learn new skills, be more creative, and prepare me for my future career.
Perkins Augustin
My name is Perkins Augustin, and I am a student at Burlington High School in the class of 2027. I am currently taking Technology Exploration, where I have the opportunity to learn more about technology and how it can be used to solve problems and create new things. I decided to join the Help Desk because I wanted to gain more experience with technology while also helping other students and teachers with their technology needs. I enjoy learning how different types of technology work and figuring out solutions when something is not working properly. In the future, I am interested in exploring careers that involve technology, engineering, or computer-related fields. I want to continue developing my skills and learning about new technologies that could be useful in my future career. Outside of school, I enjoy playing video games, learning how to use robots and drones, and exploring different types of technology. I like learning through hands-on experiences because they allow me to understand how things work instead of just reading about them. I am excited to continue learning new skills through the Help Desk and Technology Exploration while helping make technology easier for others to use.

My name is Vlad and I’m a senior in Burlington High School. Class of 2027. I love
to go off-roading and to work on cars. I also like to learn about technology and work with
it. I decided to join the help desk to learn more about technology and to help people if
needed. In the future I want to be a certified automotive technician. I also run my own car
detailing business and working at King’s Bowling in Burlington.

Hello, my name is Brian Chaves and I am a senior at Burlington High School. In my free time I like to fish, golf and play baseball. I decided to join this class because I am interested in learning the complexity of devices. And how they are all different and all parts play a role and do something different. Hi, my name is Brandon, and I am a senior at BHS. I am interested in technology, sports, and learning how things work. I have always enjoyed using computers and playing games, so I thought the help desk class would be a good way to learn more about technology while doing something I enjoy.
I decided to join this class because I wanted to gain more experience with computers and technology. I am interested in learning how to solve problems, help other people with technology, and understand more about how games and other programs are created. I also like working with other people and figuring out solutions when something does not work.
In the future, I am interested in a career involving technology, computers, or possibly game design. I am still figuring out exactly what career I want to pursue, but I hope this class will help me discover what I enjoy most.
Outside of school, I enjoy playing lacrosse, working out, and spending time with my friends and family. I am looking forward to learning new skills in this class and getting more comfortable working with technology.
Aaron Gans
I am in my freshmen year of high school. I am really into video games and things of that nature. I joined the tech exploration/help desk program because I want to learn a lot more about technology and I like the idea of helping people with their devices. In the future I might have older relatives or other people I may need to help with their devices or other technology. I also want to learn how to fix my own devices so I do not have to rely on others to help me fix my own device. I don’t really have a good idea of what career path I’m going to take yet. A few other interesting things about me are that I play volleyball and I am really into esports games like for example, Rocket League or Madden.
James Gordon
My name is James Gordon, and I am a senior at BHS. I decided to join the Help Desk program because I want to learn more about technology and how it works. My interests in technology are in video games or using my phone. Technology is a big part of everyday life, and I think learning more about it will be helpful for my future. I am excited to gain new skills and have hands-on experience throughout the year. One interesting thing about me is that I am a twin and I play hockey, baseball, and golf. In the future, I am interested in a career in business. I think the skills I learn in Help Desk, like problem solving, communication, and working with technology, could help me in many different careers. I am looking forward to learning new things this year and gaining experience that I can use in the future.
Ayaan Moriya
Hi, my name is Ayaan, and I’m a senior. I’m excited to be part of the Help Desk program this year.
I’ve always been interested in technology in general, and I’m especially drawn towards troubleshooting tech problems and helping people fix them. There’s just something satisfying and accomplishing about figuring out what’s wrong with a device and actually solving it. Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, and I try to make the most of the time I have with them, especially as senior year keeps me busy.
I joined this class because I wanted to learn both everyday essential and niche tech skills that I can use to help others, whether it’s something simple like fixing a slow device or something more complex. I’m looking forward to helping others troubleshoot and work with classmates to do so.
Right now, I’m thinking about a future career in engineering, though I’m keeping my options open.
A fun fact about me is that I love to travel – my number one option for next summer is Morocco!

Hello, my name is Pranav Vadali, and I am a senior at BHS. My main interests are playing video games, running, and learning technology like CAD in my free time. I joined the help desk class to broaden my understanding of technology and how it can be used in the future, as I use a lot of technology myself, and want to know more about it and how it works. I specifically want to learn about artificial intelligence, 3D printing, and other tools that will probably be used way more in the future in class. I also want to know how to fix certain issues and be able to troubleshoot things and help others with it as well. In the future I want to pursue a career in mechanical engineering, as I have always wanted to do engineering and want to build cool stuff.

My name is Leon, and I am a Senior at Burlington High School. I have always liked technology and how it can be used to solve problems, share ideas, and create great experiences. Outside of school, I enjoy spending my time listening to music, working out , and hanging out with friends. I decided to join Mr. Wong’s class to get hands-on experience with technology, and to grow my technical problem solving skills, and learn more about how digital media and design work behind the scenes.
