We have managed to get through a very busy first few weeks of school. It’s been an adjustment to say the least, but we’re doing what we can to help students and teachers and learn about technology at the same time. I am pleased to have several students returning to Help Desk and several new students. We are trying our best to get to know each other with our schedule that has a mixture of hybrid and full remote students. I hope you enjoy reading their student bios and seeing their work over the course of the semester or school year.

Anthony Dalessio

My name is Tony Dalessio. I am a senior at Burlington High School, and this is my first year doing Help Desk. Throughout my years of high school, I have only participated in only one sport for Burlington High, and that is baseball my freshman year. Hockey is my main sport and I play for a club team out of Manchester, New Hampshire. I decided to join Help Desk to expand my knowledge with new and improved technology. In the future I hope to pursue a marketing job, as my mother also works in the marketing field. Some interesting facts about me are that I have three hockey players that live with me and my family, and also that I have a golden retriever dog named Brady.

Griffin Doiron

I’m Griffin Doiron and I’m a freshman at Burlington high school and this is my first semester doing Help Desk. Joining this class I was interested in game design because I do play a lot of video games. I’ve done a little bit of coding and I’m not too interested but I am interested in game design and doing activities with the drones. I joined this class because I thought it would be a fun class because I like technology. I also am trying to play hockey at BHS 

Ryan Gedick

Hi, My name is Ryan Gedick, and I am a sophomore n here at BHS. The reason I joined the Help Desk was to learn how technology can be integrated into sports like hockey. I have played hockey for 11 years and I have only recently discovered the technology that goes into designing and making hockey sticks. A job that I am currently interested in is designing and making hockey sticks for a company called Bauer. The hockey stick I currently am using is very technologically advanced in its field. Another reason I decided to join the Help Desk was so I could figure out what makes certain electronic devices work and function as they do. My goals by the end of high school are to be able to fully disassemble and reassemble a gaming PC. I plan to do this on my own at home. Also, I hope to learn javascript, a type of code. Another one of my interests is gaming. I used to play in tournaments and I won over 100 dollars in gift cards doing it. Some games that I play are Rainbow Six Siege, Star Wars – Jedi Fallen Order, and NHL 20. Thank you for reading my bio.

Sophie Joyce

I’m Sophie Joyce, I’m a freshman at Burlington High School and this is my first year doing Help Desk. In middle school I did cheer and basketball and this year I’m only doing cheer. I don’t really know much about what we are gonna be doing in class but I’m sure it’s going to be interesting. Things I like to do for fun when I’m home is to watch YouTube or Netflix. I am interested in learning more about how all this technology stuff works. A fun fact about me is that I have a twin brother.

Lucas Magliozzi

My name is Lucas Magliozzi and I am a sophomore. My interests include sports and video games. The sports are golf, hockey, and baseball. I joined this class because I like this better than any other elective that this school had to offer me. My career interests would be playing in the NHL, but the more realistic career  path for me is real estate and being a contractor. One interesting fact about myself is that I like to lift weights and I work out 6 times a week. I do it for sports because you need the strength for hockey and baseball. Another interesting thing is that I play 2K for at least 2 hours every single day. I have a point guard and he’s very good, he’s a 92 overall pure sharpshooter. I also have a glass cleaner that is an 84 overall. 

Meet Patel

My Name is Meet Patel and I am a senior at Burlington High School. I’m mainly interested in technology and games. From my childhood, I loved games, mainly first person shooters and battle royale games. I decided to join the Help Desk because my career I’m going to choose is in computer science and I’m thinking about artificial intelligence. I know pretty much about C++ and I’m learning Java this year. So I thought of learning additional things about technology by taking Help Desk. And that would be beneficial ahead in the future. Other than that I love to watch cartoons and my special cartoon is Tom and Jerry. I also love to watch YouTube. In my spare time, I just watch YouTube and the things that I watch are esports and technology things. I love to be updated every day so the first thing in the morning I do is to check the news all around the world, So I know what is happening. Apart from all the things, my main focus is for my major Computer Science. I decided my major when I was in 8th grade. I want to learn everything that I can learn in computers and technology. Besides that, I also like to play sports, I took a physical education class junior year and I loved that class so much. The sports that I love to play are archery and handball.

My name is Joe Perna and I’m a senior. I like programming, video games, and wrestling. I joined Help Desk because I want to improve my understanding of both hardware and software, and be able to help my classmates with their technology issues. In the future I want to have a career as a software developer or possibly a game designer.

Adam Rabbani

I am a senior at Burlington High School. I am heavily interested in both software and hardware aspects of technology. I took this class to gain experience in various aspects of technology that I may not be familiar with, as well as further my education in topics that I know. Specifically, I am interested in PC building and hardware technologies. In addition, I have a little experience in coding in Java and C++. I am still deciding on a career path, but I will be going into the computer science path. My computer science background stems from my dad. My dad works in software at Intel and I have always been interested throughout my life. Outside of school, I play basketball for fun. I love basketball because all you need is a ball and a hoop, and when you put that together with friends you could have a great time. I look forward to this school year being a part of the Help Desk to further my education.

Nicholas Reyes

My name is Nick Reyes. I am currently a sophomore student at BHS. I’m happy to help anyone who has a problem that I can assist with and always enjoy a joke. Technology has always interested me and I like to use many kinds of it. Some examples are playing games on my Xbox, flying a drone, or simply just using my phone. My interest started when I did a Summer program for Scratch. Since then I have always been wondering how technology works and if someday I can make a product that falls in that category. I thought of joining Help Desk because the class involves using, fixing, and understanding technology. Since I find working with technology enjoyable, the class will help me gain more knowledge about it. Technology is starting to become more important to our lives, so learning about it could also help me when I am an adult. I hope to learn how to fix any problems that occur on the iPads and make new memories. In the future I hope my career ends up being an engineer. I also enjoy hanging out with friends and family.

Zachary Aloisi

Hello my name is Zachary Alois. I am 15 years old and I love to play video games. I am a sophomore as of now and will graduate in 2023. Some of my interests include playing a lot of video games. Talking to people using technology a lot more than in person. And other things. I’m not really into coding as much as just playing video games but maybe it would help in a way, to learn to code. I decided to join the Help Desk because I wanted to learn how games are made and how people code these big things. In the future I want to become a twitch streamer or just a professional gamer. It has been a dream for mine for a long time. It’s really fun to play games and to have an audience to watch you. Other intriguing things about me is that I play a lot of sports. In the fall time I play soccer and that’s the one that I have a lot of friends in so it’s really fun and really competitive. In the winter time I play basketball and that’s just really competitive and not fun at all. In the spring I do both soccer and baseball. Baseball is my favorite probably because I just have so much fun doing it and playing it.

Ahmed Baig

My name is Ahmed Baig and I am a senior in high school and will be graduating in the Cnormanlass of 2021. I have many interests which can be related to technology and others not so much. I like to play basketball as well as watch it. I also like to watch football. I also like to play video games on the Xbox One console. Seeing technology advance is very amazing to me. Designing games is also very interesting and how the game functions. I decided to join Help Desk because I wanted to really learn more about technology and its everyday use. I am interested in business and technology, so with Help Desk, I can get a better grasp at technology. Some more things about me are that I like to watch TV shows like “The Office” or “All American.” I often binge watch these shows because they are very interesting. I am very excited to be a part of Help Desk and learn more about technology.

Tanner Cody

Hi, my name is Tanner Cody and I am a senior here at BHS. Some of my interests are track and field, playing Xbox, and technology. I decided to join Help Desk to learn more about technology and how I can help others with problems they have. Hopefully, by the end of this semester I will learn a lot more about technology and how to help others. I don’t know what I’m going to do later in life, but it will probably be related to technology or science. Other interesting things about me are I can speak Spanish, but not fluently.I am 17 years old, and I have an older sister and an older brother. I am also interested in what we will be doing in this class, like learning about drones and other things.

Paul D’Eramo

My name is Paul D’Eramo and I’m a senior at Burlington High School. I’m mostly interested in sports and playing video games. My favorite sport is lacrosse because I’ve been playing since I was young and it’s always a good time. I am currently going to the University of Tampa for lacrosse so that shows how much I like it. Video games never get boring unless I play a game that I’m not interested in. I decided to join Help Desk because my friends told me it was a great learning experience and I’m very interested in drones. This is my second year that I have been in the Help Desk. Later on in life I would like to be a general contractor but I’m not fully sure yet there’s still a lot of time to figure things out. I’d also like to be a fireman. But I’m very excited to be in Help Desk this year and see what fascinating projects come up later in the year.

Cole Frieden

I am a senior at Burlington High School. I am interested in learning how technology I use in my everyday life works and functions behind the scenes, also it will be helpful to know how to troubleshoot if my tech breaks down. I joined the Help Desk to understand more about technology. I am interested in going into real estate and studying marine biology as an understudy. I enjoy being a salesman and have good people skills so I think real estate is a good fit for me. Currently I run a fishing charter company with my dad and a landscaping company with my buddy Matt. Over the summer I primarily worked by fishing and landscaping, when I wasn’t working I was hanging out with my friends. Fishing gave me the opportunity to go fishing with three of the Boston Bruins and help them create a video as we sponsored each other for a competition. I took out Brandon Carlo, Brad Marchand and Kevan Miller.

Shawn Pinkham

My name is Shawn Pinkham and I am a senior at BHS. Some of my interests for this class are learning about drones and more about computers in general. I’ve always been interested in computers and technology but I would like to be more advanced in those fields. I decided to join this class because I wanted to expand my knowledge in the advances in technology today. There are always new devices coming out that I would like to learn more about. A career I am interested in is graphic design. I’ve taken many classes that involve a type of design in them. That career is computer-based, so this class could help me learn more about that field. Some things about me are that I am a part of the varsity baseball and football teams at BHS. I played basketball up until my sophomore year and then lost interest. Sports have a big impact on my life. 

Mason Robson

Hello, my name is Mason Robson. I am in the Class of 2023 and currently a sophomore at Burlington High School. My interests are gaming, computer science and sports. I enjoy playing video games like Call of Duty, Valorant, and NHL 20. I also play hockey. Technology plays a huge role in video games and sports, all video games are developed and created using advanced technology and software. In all sports all equipment is made using technology to keep the players safe. I decided to join the help desk because I recently built a computer and wanted to learn in depth about how it functions and works. I also am looking forward to learning about coding, drones and technology. A career I am interested in taking is being a software engineer. Software engineers help develop software for companies and businesses. These products range from business applications and games to network control systems and operating systems. All software plays a big role in our life, it can help make tasks easier. Help desk can help me learn more about the subject of computer science and software.      

Cameron Soda

 My name is Cameron Soda and I am currently a senior in the Class of 2021. I like to play Xbox a lot and I like many things to do with technology such as helping with computers and other devices. I decided to join this class because I thought it would be good to help kids with their needs with their Chrome books or iPads because they break a lot and some kids need help with them because they don’t know a lot and I can learn more about them throughout the year.  I have no idea what I want to do in the future if I were to pick a field to go into, Ii have been thinking about an exercise science major or criminal justice. Other things about me are that I wrestle and I have been wrestling since 1st grade and wrestling is the only sport I do. Also I have a twin brother and three other siblings and two of them went here at BHS. I am really looking forward to this year in Help Desk because I heard it was a great class and you can learn a lot about technology while taking this class.

William Franz

My name is William Franz. I am a senior at BHS. My experience with technology started when I was 8 years old, when I replaced the broken hard drive in my desktop computer. Even though my files were lost, I gained something even better, which was my interest in machines, computers, programming, and pretty much anything relating to technology, which has only grown exponentially since. 

I plan to build a career in either mechanical engineering or software development, and now that I live in Massachusetts, a state with much more options for technological education than Illinois, the possibilities are nearly endless. 

Last year in Help Desk, I learned a lot. From drone-piloting to programming and designing games with Unity and other programs/languages, it has been a very interesting and engaging experience, and I look forward to learning even more.

This is why I signed up for Help Desk again this year, to learn even more about technology in a helpful and interactive way. 

Samuel Norman

I have loved technology since I was born. “Telephone” and “computer” were some of my first words. From the first time my mother showed me basic HTML when I was a 6-year-old boy, I have always been fascinated with computers and the way they work. Every day, I strive to find new applications for technology in imaginative and unique ways. I love building practical scripts and applications in my free time when I can not obtain a “pre-cooked” solution, and I frequently post my work on GitHub. I work with Python, C#, JavaScript, and HTML, and am studying C/C++. While I’m not programming or doing homework, I fill my free time by playing tennis and communicating with friends on Discord. I aspire to be an engineer, although of which sort I am not yet sure.

Bryan Bottiglio

My interests are programming, game design, and social media. I have had experience with programming before in multiple classes I took in the past and it caught my interest. I have been playing video games since I was a little kid so I am interested in learning more about how they are created and everything that goes on behind the scenes. I took a class over the summer and got social media marketing certified, so I have background knowledge about that.

I decided to join the game design class because I want to learn about how video games are created. Since I play video games a lot, I want to know more about them. 

I am interested in going into business, whether that be marketing, finance, or entrepreneurship. I don’t know what specific field I want to go into yet, but something related to business would be my main interest. I think this class could help me with that by understanding technology more in a world that is forever evolving. 

I am a huge basketball and football fan. I also enjoy playing both of those on the side but I have done track every year in high school.

Richard Cromwell

Hello, my name is Richard Cromwell.  I am a Senior in the class of 2021. This is my second semester of Help Desk and I’m also taking Intro to Game Design for the first time.  My interests are playing video games, running track, and listening to music. I decided to join Help Desk again because it was fun last year, I like to use electronics, and because I learned a lot in this class.  I don’t have any career interests so far and I don’t know what I want to be when I grow up and I am considering anything. I am also very interested in track and I am a varsity runner. The video games I play are Halo, Minecraft, Call of Duty, and many others.  The reason I want to join Help Desk again is because it was great last year and I want to learn more about electronics. I am also doing Game Design for the first time because I think it would be cool to design video games.  My favorite animals are dogs and my family owns three yellow labs, but when I grow up I am going to get an Irish Wolf Hound. 

Anthony Elkins

Hi, my name is Anthony Elkins and I am a sophomore here at BHS. I took Intro to Game Design because I love playing games and I always wanted to know how they are made. Some of my favorite games include Rainbow 6 Siege, Rocket League, and Madden. I usually play these games on a daily basis but I would like to make one like it for myself. I see myself getting a job in the technology industry in the next couple of years just because of how fast it is growing in society. Also I would love to work with technology because I use it every day so having a job with it will expand my knowledge. Some of my personal hobbies include playing sports such as football and lacrosse. Spending time with family and friends also watching sports. Football is my favorite sport of all time. I play and watch it all the time. I play on the team here at the high school and I really enjoy playing it with my friends. My final hobby is working out. I work out and lift weights almost everyday. I enjoy doing it and helping myself for the future.

Syed Hussain (Georgish)

My name is Syed Georgish Hussain but I’d prefer to just be called Georgish or George. I am a senior this year. I really enjoy most things to do with technology in general. I like the hardware side of things where you learn about each part that helps create new cool tech. A new thing that really intrigues me is folding phones and how the screen can fold and its evolution to eventually be the new best form factor. I love seeing technology evolve every generation. For game design and that side of things it also really interests me. I like to think about what goes in the game I just played and how hard it is to get that level of gameplay across the years. I joined the game design class because I wanted to take another computer science class and it is a spin from the usual cs classes I’ve taken before. For my career interests they are very different from each other. I really want to be a software engineer. Out of all the aspects of computer science creating new possible game changing software is what intrigues me the most. Something interesting about me is that I’m ambidextrous.

My name is Rachad Mesnaoui and I’m a senior. I’m taking this class since I love games and love creating things so I decided to put those two together. Game design. When I do get older i want to create or help create big games that kids or adults can play something they go to when they want to escape reality just like I did when I was younger.My main career choice is obviously a game designer, i want o make the story or characters in a game but dont mind any of it and would be happy to fo any part of a project. Some interesting facts about me is that i have a cat, RJ who’s now almost 4 which is crazy. I work, and will hopefully be going to UMass lowell or Salem state for college.

Dominic Porter

My name is Dominic Porter,  most of my friends call me Dom. Things about me that you should know is I love to play sports, but my favorite is playing soccer.  I have played soccer my whole life. I lived in Burlington for 10 years. People say that I’m a cool and nice person, but sometimes I make jokes about people and they laugh or make a joke back. I have a little brother named Ethan and we sometimes get along.  

Tyler Williams

Hello, my name is Tyler Williams and I am a senior at Burlington High School. I have many interests in technology, one being gaming either gaming on a PC or an Xbox. Another interest I have are computers. After I got my first gaming PC I have been more interested in things involving them like making pc’s, code, and gaming. My last interest is basketball. I have been playing basketball since my freshman year and I will be playing for my senior season this winter. I decided to take the game design class because I have always had a passion for gaming. starting from The PS2 when I played SSX Tricky or playing Pokemon on my Gameboy Advanced. Up to now where I play NBA 2K on my Xbox or League of Legends on my PC. Those are some of the many reasons why I decided to take the game design class. My career interests are really anything to do with computers because I plan on majoring in computer science and minoring in game design in college. Some interesting things about me is I have a younger brother in 8th grade and I am allergic to all nuts. 

Jonathan Wolinski

My name is Jonathan Wolinski and I am currently a senior at BHS. My biggest academic interests include science, mathematics, and technology. I am definitely interested in pursuing a STEM related major in college and a career later on. The thing I like most about science and technology is the rapid development and prevalence that many fields involve. Technology and science have changed the world and will continue to do so well into future. I would like to be part of that change. I chose to join the game design class because I have always been fascinated by the complexity and detail that games contain. I want to expose myself to the process through which designers’ ideas are transformed into reality. I am especially interested in open-ended, creative games like MInecraft. I find it amazing that the game developers have been able to design such complicated and intricate games that players can spend years playing while never running out of things to do. Overall, I am a student who likes to ask questions and think about how things work and I am very excited to learn more about the field of game design this semester.

Aymaan Shaikh

Hi, my name is Aymaan Shaikh, and I am a senior at Burlington High School (Class of 2021). I’m currently Co-President of the BHS Programming club (alongside Hack club), a member of the Peer tutoring club, and part of the BHS Tennis team. I joined this class because of my strong curiosity in technology and because I want to create a website and build iOS apps. I would also like to learn about technology, such as Edge Computing, Data Management, and Network security. In the future, I would like to work with Artificial intelligence (AI) and “Big” Data to solve “Big” problems in today’s world. I would like to bring people closer to technology and show them how technology can create change where it’s least expected. Likewise, I hope to host a Hackathon to bring people closer to technology and provide an opportunity for students to have an antithetic environment from the classroom. Students will then have the opportunity to become inspired, innovate, and learn. This school year I plan on learning MySQL so that I can have a deeper grasp on database management and hopefully create websites with greater organization.

Harun Ahmed

My interests are computers and how to build one and how to fix it if anything happens to it. I also want to learn how to make a game and what goes into making a game. I decided to join the Help Desk because I like technology and I want to learn more about it and see if I would be interested in doing it for a career or study it in college and if it’s something I want to do. My career interests are fixing computers, therapists or a physical therapist. I like playing sports and playing games in my free time and sometimes my uncle would show me what he does to fix computers because that’s what he does for a living.

Griffin Carter

My name is Griffin Carter and I am a senior here at BHS. I decided to take the Help Desk because I like Mr. Wong’s drones and want to get a chance to fly them. Another reason I joined is because I like to help people with their technology problems and fix it for them. I like to play sports in my free time like football. I also like to play video games like Madden and 2K. I’m not sure what I want to do with my career yet and I’m still trying to figure it out.

Adam Cobuzzi-Luecke

My name is Adam Luecke and I’m a senior and this is my first year with Help Desk trying to explore a side interest of computers and the way they work. I know the basics and some minor knowledge of computers, however I don’t know much  beyond that and I’m eager to find out. I spend my time playing video games, biking, and swimming. I don’t do anything competitively but if I ever get good enough at video games I wouldn’t be opposed to finding my way into competitive leagues. Right now some of my favorite games to play are Call of Duty, Apex Legends, and Rainbow Six Siege, all of which have competitive leagues however they are very hard to get into. Right now my main career choice/path is into forensic science and working as an analyst in the state crime lab. I have one sibling already in college, she’s studying to become a marine biologist and working to help clean up the ocean and solve other aquatic problems. The reason I got interested in computers even remotely is because my dad works as a computer programmer for Harvard’s extension school and he recommended the topic to delve into. 

Jack Jay

My name is Jack Jay and I am a senior here at Burlington High School. This is my first semester in the Help Desk and I am excited to see what it holds for me.  I currently play three varsity sports at the high school. I have played golf since my freshman year working my way to the top of the lineup. I just made the hockey team my junior year and had a great season as we won the Cahoon Cup and made the Super 8.  I also just made the baseball team as a junior.  I enjoy playing video games such as NBA 2K, NHL and Modern Warfare on my Xbox One. I also enjoy watching sports as well as tv shows, some of my favorites are The Office, Friends, and Shameless.  I joined the Help Desk this year because it was appealing to learn more about technology and how it works, seeing that our world today is practically run off of technology.  As of right now my future plans are undecided… but I plan to make a decision soon.  I look forward to learning more about technology and how I can help students at BHS with their technology issues.

My name is Anas Khalifa, I am a senior. My interests are learning about more programs and playing around with video games and knowing more about how it’s programmed. I decided to join the Help Desk because I am interested in learning more about computers.I am thinking of becoming a software engineer. I like to play cricket and volleyball, and I go to work in the Market Basket as an assistant manager. In my free time mostly I play video games and unless someone is around me then I do my homework.

Matthew Pinkham

Hi my name is Matt Pinkham, I’m a senior at BHS graduating class of 2021. This is my second year of doing Help Desk. I play football and track for the school and on my own I love to play 2L and Madden. I like Help Desk because we get to learn about new technology that gets released and we get to help people with their problems. In the future I’m hoping to get a business degree and pick up the electrical trade on the side. Over this summer I have worked a lot, I worked at one of the elementary schools as a custodian, and me and my buddy started a landscaping company as well.

Avnish Rembhotkar

Hello, my name is Avnish Rembhotkar and I am a senior at Burlington High School. I am a three-year varsity athlete on the swim team and a state and national level competitor. I love swimming, but technology is also a really strong interest in mine. I love staying up to date with drone companies such as DJI, and other companies such as Apple, Microsoft, Tesla, and SpaceX. This year, I am doing the UAV Commercial Drone Pilot school to get my Part 107 FAA Commercial Drone Pilot License in the late fall or early winter. Also, I’m doing a STEM program called The Knowledge Society where I will be working with other like-minded people in solving global problems. I decided to join Help Desk again because I want to enhance my knowledge in technology and work with others while doing so. I also really like problem solving so this gives me an opportunity to do that. In the future, I am interested in studying astrophysics, physics, or mechanical engineering. I love the idea around space and the physics that is incorporated in it, so working at SpaceX or Boeing would be really cool. An interesting thing about me is that I love being outdoors such as kayaking or hiking.

Hello, my name is Nick Cervone and I am a senior at BHS. This is my first year being in the Help Desk. I joined the Help Desk because I use technology every day and love how technology works in today’s world. I also would like to learn more about technology and gain new knowledge from this class. Some examples of technology I use are my computer, Xbox, and phone. I use all three of these devices every day for gaming, talking, and school work. I play on my Xbox and PC with friends. My name is Nolan Kelleher and I am a senior this year. This is my first time in this class but I was told that this is a good class and helpful. I like technology because I think it is interesting and necessary. I joined Help Desk because I use technology almost every day of my life so I would like to know more about it. Technology to me is a new world and what the future is going to depend on more than it does now. Pretty much every job nowadays relies on technology so you might as well learn as much as you can on it. I plan on getting into business for college and a career and business involves a lot of work on computers and technology. It’s better to learn it now than to be struggling when you find a job and not knowing how to do certain stuff. I still do not know what college I will be going to but I think that this is a good class to have on my resume.

Sean Malone

My name is Sean Malone and I am a senior at Burlington High School. My Interests mainly are sports. I play golf, hockey, and lacrosse and have been on varsity since freshman year for all 3. Luckily for me lacrosse has made my college decision easy, I am committed to Western New England University to further my academic and athletic career. I joined Help Desk to expand my knowledge of computers and troubleshooting my own problems. For my career I am majoring in business and hoping to get a career in finance or accounting. Lastly some interesting facts about me is I am left handed when I write. 

Sean McLaughin

My name is Sean McLaughlin and I am a senior at BHS. Technology has always been a huge interest of mine since I have been around it for so long. I have been playing video games since I can remember back on my old Wii to now playing on a computer and playing NBA 2K on my xbox. I also enjoy using technology to see what’s going on around the world and mostly to watch basketball anywhere that I am. I decided to join the Help Desk since I want to learn more about technology and inventions that have been made possible by them. This also seemed like a good class to learn from since I am thinking of going into a career around technology and computer science. One  interesting fact about me is that I play basketball almost year round and will be one of the varsity captains for my senior season. During the summer my family and I go camping up in New Hampshire on a lake for the week. This time is something that I enjoy and look forward to every year.

Michal Romulus

My name is Michael Romulus. This year marks my final senior year within Burlington High School. Throughout my time in BHS I have learned what it means to have drive in what you do for a living. Some interests I have while searching with BHS is in a technology field. I believe learning and understanding how to create a website can be a vital tool for the future. For myself and perhaps others as work in the future. Another one of my interests is learning how self-improving bots work. I believe they are and always will be a powerful tool when it comes towards the marketability of an application. The reason as to why I wanted to join the Help Desk was to try something new and see where I went. I had the thought and some ambition to get into the computer tech scene, but never had any real way or reason to make that into reality. This year however I decided to take a chance. I decided to sign up with two computer classes for my final year in high school. I have no idea how these two might affect the future of my college life. Though for now I am sure it will be for the best.

Nicholas Silva

My name is Nick Silva, I’m a junior in high school. My interests aren’t really too technology based but i’m super into video games. The reason I decided to join this class is mostly because I heard a lot of good things. I’m still not entirely sure what this class is about but I know that we help other students with tech issues and troubleshooting. This class does seem interesting and I know it also involves coding and fixing devices, also while learning useful customer service skills. Some career interests of mine are becoming a pilot, commercial or military. I’m also interested in the field of science, preferably something to do with animals and helping them or studying them, this is more of a dream is to go to the UFC and fight professionally. Some other interesting things about me are that I’m planning to do MMA and I do wrestling. Another interest is that I would really like to learn how to make video games and things like that, maybe one day make a small game that me and my friends can play.

Orion Golden

Hi. I’m Orion. I’m a junior, and I thought Help Desk would be interesting. I personally thought it would be good to be able to help others with their problems, possibly learn a lot more about technology, and so far it seems to be just what I was looking for. Some of the things they go over or help kids in the class are personally quite interesting. Stuff like the Unity engine, or some of the more minute details when it comes to stuff like fixing computers. These skills in particular could even possibly help me work with technology better in the future to an extent that I would really understand otherwise.

Joseph Nee

My name is Joey Nee, I’m a senior at Burlington High School. I decided to join the Help Desk because I figured that I would be able to learn a thing or two about technology and how certain things are created/used, I also would like to apply some knowledge to my every-day life.  I haven’t decided on a career yet, as for now I’ve had the same job for about a year now.  I’m still open to multiple options. Over the summer I spent most of my time outside once restrictions were lifted. I’ve always had a love for technology, even when I was a lot younger. My older brother always introduced me to movies, games, etc. One thing that has always piqued my interest is how animation has become what it is today. Movies that use CGI always impress me because of how long it really must take to animate something that seems to be so life-like. It amazes me that people have really been able to learn how to do certain amazing things with tech. My hobbies include going outside and being around friends.

John Peluso

Hi, my name is John Peluso. I am a senior at Burlington High School as a part of the Class of 2021. I enjoy computer science related stuff. I like just about anything that has to do with computers. I also enjoy designing games as I am a gamer at heart. I decided to join the game design class because I want to get some experience for hopefully designing video games in the future. I am interested in having a career in things related to video games whether it is designing them or another aspect of them. Some interesting things about me are that I like gaming a lot. I also enjoy hanging out with friends of mine. I also play with them online often when I’m at my house. I currently work at the local grocery store called Shaw’s with a few of my friends. I also enjoy watching Netflix shows in my free time when I am bored at home. My favorite season of the year is fall if just talking about the weather because it is the perfect time of year. Also, Halloween is in the fall which is my favorite holiday. Summer is my favorite season if including having school since there is none during the summer.

Thomas Porter

My name is Thomas Porter and I’m a new student to Help Desk. I’m a senior at Burlington High School. The technology I’m interested in is cars and how they are able to send signals to the driver to let them know that something is wrong with the car. I have joined Help Desk because Ii would like to expand my knowledge on technology. A career I’m interested in is a game warden. A game warden is basically a police officer for the outdoors. They go around and check people for their fishing, hunting, and trapping license to make sure that what they are doing is legal. And they also try to catch people who are hunting the wrong way. Game wardens also go on search and rescues for missing people. Some interesting things about myself are that Ii enjoy cars and trucks mainly older and just about anything that has a motor. I am new to learning about technology and Ii cannot wait to start learning about it.
