Editor’s Note: This post, featuring an excellent tutorial showcasing the app MyScript Calculator, originally appeared on the blog on BHS Help Desk junior Adam Princiotta.
I found a great free app called My Script Calculator that can be used for math and science classes. I use it in my Physics and Pre-Calculus classes. It is a calculator, but it uses your hand drawn numbers and operations instead of keys to press. It is great if you want to practice writing formulas out but don’t want to retype it into a calculator. It is fast, simple and gets the job done. I hope you check it out and enjoy!
In this tutorial I will be showing you how to do the following:
Solve algebraic equations
Input operations
Save answers
Share your work
Switch between radian and degree modes
Change the number of decimal places it calculates to
Turn on palm rejection
