Computer Science Education Week/Hour of Code 2019

The BHS Help Desk has been planning a series of fun activities for Computer Science Education Week/Hour of Code 2019 which is taking place Dec. 9-13. We are excited that representatives from Microsoft and Apple will be coming to the school to lead us in some coding exercises. We hope to have a lot of teachers and students join us for a very special week

Microsoft representatives will be here to work with the students on the Responsible AI project within this github repo:   https://github.com/interpretml/interpret-community/blob/master/notebooks/explain-regression-local.ipynb. The activity will be using https://ipython.org/notebook.html
Thursday, 10:30-12:30 (Periods 3-5)
Back of the upper library
 
Microsoft Store representatives will have demonstrations and hands-on activities with Mixed Reality headsets and other new Microsoft hardware
Friday, 10:15-12:45 (Periods 1-3)
Rooms 409-411
 
Apple representatives will do activities with Swift Playgrounds and Augmented Reality
